Play well
Responsible Play
Signal Run is entertainment. This page explains what that means in practice, and what to do if it ever stops being true for you.
What Qerind is — and is not
Qerind is a free social casino. Everything on this site runs on virtual coins that exist only inside your browser session. Those coins cannot be bought, sold, transferred, won, redeemed or exchanged for money, goods, services or any other benefit. We do not accept wagers, do not hold player funds and do not award prizes of any monetary value. Qerind is offered strictly for entertainment purposes.
Age requirement
Qerind is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Casino-style mechanics, even without money attached, are not designed for children, and we ask that you do not use this site if you are under 18. If you share a device with young people, please keep it out of their reach.
Social gaming is not practice
This is worth stating bluntly. The odds, pacing and payout structure of Signal Run were chosen because they make an enjoyable free game — not because they model anything you would encounter elsewhere. Doing well here indicates nothing whatsoever about any real-money gambling activity, and a good run on our board should never be read as a signal to try one. The two things are unrelated.
Keeping it in proportion
A few habits keep a free game a free game:
- Decide roughly how long you want to play before you start, and let that decision stand when the session gets interesting.
- Take a real break every half hour — stand up, look at something further than an arm away, and come back only if you actually want to.
- Use the reset control freely. Chasing a depleted virtual balance has exactly the same emotional shape as chasing a real one, and none of the upside.
- Play when you are rested. Boredom, stress and late nights all make any repetitive game harder to step away from.
- Keep the game where it belongs — alongside the rest of your evening, not instead of it.
Signs worth noticing
Because there is no money involved, it is easy to assume a social casino cannot become a problem. For most people it does not. Still, it is worth pausing if you notice any of the following:
- Playing for noticeably longer than you intended, repeatedly.
- Feeling restless, irritable or low when you stop.
- Reaching for the game to avoid a task, a feeling or a conversation.
- Losing sleep, missing meals or putting off commitments because of a session.
- Finding that free play has started to make real-money gambling feel appealing.
Any one of those is a reasonable cue to close the tab for a few days and see how it feels.
Taking a break
Qerind holds no account for you, so stepping away is immediate and requires nothing from us: close the page and your session ends along with your balance. If you would like a firmer boundary, most browsers, operating systems and mobile devices offer site blocking and screen-time limits that you can point at this domain. Several well-regarded content-blocking extensions will do the same job. We fully support anyone using them on us.
Finding support
Qerind is available internationally, so we deliberately do not name a single national helpline or regulator — the right service depends entirely on where you are. If gambling or gaming habits are causing you difficulty, support organisations exist in most countries, and a local health service, general practitioner or recognised national support line can point you to the appropriate one. Speaking to someone you trust is a good first step as well.
18+. Social gaming only. No real-money wagering, no purchases, no prizes of monetary value. For entertainment purposes only. Questions about any of this are welcome via our support page.
